As an owner, you now have access to our exclusive Victorian Owners’ Gold Card (VOGC) program which rewards and recognises those who invest in, and support, the Victorian racing industry.
Your Victorian Owner Gold Card entitles you to a range of benefits at all 67 Victorian metropolitan and country racetracks. Your VOGC provides a number of exciting race day privileges when your horse is running, including admission and members’ passes; complimentary racebooks; and access to the on-course owners’ lounge with race replay facilities.
Raceday privileges when your horse is racing:
You can use your Victorian Owner Gold Card to access the racecourse when you have a horse racing, and will be provided with Race Day Ticketing by the host race club where your horse is racing.

Your VOGC gives you General Admission access to most race meetings in Victoria each season, even if you don’t have a runner. To find out more and to see a list of excluded race meetings please click here.
The Owner App was created by Racing Victoria providing enhanced experience for Owners to access their Victorian Owners Gold Card and Race Day ticketing from all Victorian Racecourses in one location. Owner allows active Victorian Owner Gold Card holders the ability to download their Owner Gold Card to their mobile device’s wallet, ensuring convenient access on race days, even in areas with low internet connectivity.
Owner is a Web App which allows access across desktop, tablet (iPad), and mobile — ensuring a consistent experience for all user types, with stables, syndicators and owners able to access via a desktop or iPad. Owner can be added to your home screen to operate as an App.
Physical Victorian Owner Gold Cards will remain valid, but we encourage all Owners to install the Owner App and download their digital Owner card for ease of use in anticipation of phase 2 of the project Race Day Ticketing launching Post Spring 2025.
Adding the Owner App to your home screen is a great way to ensure quick and easy access to your Card and privileges in the future. It also allows us to send you important updates about your Owner Gold Card and privileges.

Adding your Owner Gold Card to your mobile wallet means it’s always at your fingertips, even if internet connectivity is limited on race day.
To add your card:
- Go to the ‘My Passes’ page in the app.
- Select ‘View details' for the relevant Owner Card.
- Tap ‘Add to Apple Wallet’ or ‘Add to Google Wallet’ to save the pass to your phone.
Owner displays all Victorian Owner Gold Cards linked to the email address associated with your ownership details in Racing Australia’s Single National System (SNS). You can update your details via the MyHorseRacing Portal here.
Owner displays all Owner Gold Cards linked to the email address you used to log in. For example, if multiple owners (e.g. a couple) share one email in the MyHorseRacing Portal, all associated cards will appear.
The card associated with the owner registered the longest will be displayed as the Primary Owner Gold Card. Details on your profile page also reflect this primary owner. You can download multiple Owner Gold Cards to your device’s wallet if needed.
If you wish to separate your Owner Gold Card from an email address, update your MyHorseRacing Portal details here to use a unique email address for your individual Owner ID, then log in to the app using that email. Please allow up to 24 hours for changes to appear.

Your personal Owner details are linked to Racing Australia’s Single National System (SNS) and can be edited via the MyHorseRacing Portal here.
To view your Victorian Owner Gold Cards in the Owner portal, update your details to use a unique email address for your respective Owner ID(s), then login here using that email address. Please note data refresh may take 24 hours.
Racing Victoria defines an Active Owner who receives a Victorian Owners Gold Card as:
- An Owner whose (1 or more) Registered Horse has a Stable Return in VICTORIA at least 19 months prior to August 1 of the relevant racing season commencing and the horse status is either ‘Active’, ‘Spelling’, or ‘Pending’. The Horse should be 12 years or under to meet this eligibility criteria. Horse status as ‘Transferred’ will be excluded from eligibility.
OR
- An Owner whose (1 or more) Registered Horse has Accepted at least once in a Victorian Race during the Racing Year.
